- Yes, three carriers (BA, Kenya Airways, Virgin Atlantic) fly LHR,NBO daily direct in about 8h45. Mostly overnight outbound.
- Do I need a visa?
- Kenya replaced visas with an eTA. Apply at etakenya.go.ke for $30, approval usually within 48 hours.
- Time difference?
- Kenya is +3 GMT all year (no daylight savings). So 3 hours ahead of London in winter, 2 ahead in BST. Barely registers as jet lag.
- Best time of year from London?
- Summer holidays catch the Great Migration (July,October). October half term and Christmas/New Year are also superb. Avoid late March to mid May (long rains).
- Can a Londoner do a Mara safari over a long weekend?
- Tight, but yes, Thursday night flight from Heathrow, three nights in the Mara, back Tuesday morning. Better with a Friday and Monday off either side.
